About Me

Hi, I’m Ebony Watt, a multidisciplinary artist based in Cheshire, UK. I’m currently in my third year studying Fine Art at De Montfort University, where my practice focuses on immersive installation work that invites audiences to explore art through multiple senses.

My work is rooted in a desire to make art more accessible, playful, and participatory. I use space, senses, and tactile materials to create experiences that move beyond the visual — encouraging people to touch, smell, and interact. I’m particularly interested in how sensory engagement can break down barriers and open up new ways of connecting with art.

Right now, I’m developing a project that explores how installation can engage the senses in more inclusive ways, creating environments that are welcoming to diverse audiences. For me, art is a space for openness, curiosity, and connection — and I aim to reflect that in everything I make.
